Syntax
Two ways to roll: the prefix (like !r) or the /roll slash command. Here's everything the bot understands.
- Rolls a single 20-sided die. Exactly the same as /roll 1d20.
- Rolls a few dice at once. 2d6 is two six-sided dice.
- Adds or subtracts a flat number.
- Mixes different dice and modifiers in the same roll.
- Keeps the 3 highest dice (kh). The usual way to roll up stats.
- Advantage: rolls two d20 and keeps the higher one.
- Disadvantage: keeps the lower of the two (kl).
- Drops the lowest die (dl).
- Drops the highest die (dh).
- Rolls the whole expression several times. The 6# here gives you six stat lines.
- Add a name after the roll and it shows up on the result.
- On its own it falls back to the server's default roll, if one was set.
A couple of limits keep things sane: 20 rolls at most, 100 characters per command. Keep and drop also have to leave you at least one die.
