Here's the plain-English version of what SirrMizan does with your data. The gist: the bot only keeps the settings you choose, the website tracks nothing, and you can wipe your data whenever you want.

Who runs SirrMizan, and how to reach us

SirrMizan is run by its operator, who is the person responsible for your data in legal terms. If you have a question about this page or about your own data, message us on the support server: https://discord.gg/wAbMMPnwbg

What the bot keeps

Only the settings you choose, stored against your Discord ID. For you personally: your embed colour and whether you prefer compact results. For a server: its command prefix, language and default roll. That is the whole list.

What it never keeps

It doesn't store the content of your messages, the dice you roll or their results, your username or avatar, or any history of past rolls.

Why we keep it, and the legal basis

The settings exist so the bot remembers how you like things from one roll to the next. Under the GDPR we rely on legitimate interest (running the bot you chose to add) and, when you set a preference yourself, on your consent.

The logs the bot keeps

To keep the bot running and catch abuse, the server keeps light logs: a count of which commands get used (server, command, and whether it worked), configuration changes (server ID), and the occasional very high roll (server and total). No user IDs, no message content.

How long we keep things

Your settings stay until you delete them, or until the bot leaves your server, at which point that server's settings are removed automatically. Logs roll over as they fill up and are then gone.

Where your data lives, and who handles it

Everything runs on a private server we rent from Kopo (https://kopo.systems) in France, inside the EU. Your data stays there and isn't moved outside the European Economic Area. Kopo only provides the hosting. Nobody else gets your data, we don't sell or share it, and there is no advertising or analytics anywhere. The only other party involved is Discord, since that's where the bot lives.

The website

No accounts, no trackers. The one thing this site saves in your browser is your language choice (a small cookie). When you try the dice playground, the rolls happen right in your browser. Nothing is sent to us.

Your rights

If you're in the EU/EEA or the UK, you can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it's used, take it elsewhere, or withdraw consent. You can also complain to a data protection authority (in France, that's the CNIL). If you're in California, you can ask what we hold, have it deleted or corrected, and opt out of any sale or sharing. Since we never sell or share your data there is nothing to opt out of, and we won't treat you differently for asking. To use any of these, just ask on the support server.

Deleting your data

The quickest way is the /forgetme command (or !forgetme): it removes your settings on the spot. Removing the bot from a server wipes that server's settings on its own. For anything else, ask us on the support server: https://discord.gg/wAbMMPnwbg

Children

SirrMizan isn't meant for anyone under 13, which is Discord's own minimum age too. If we learn we've stored data for someone younger, we delete it.

Keeping it safe

There isn't much data here to begin with, and what there is sits on a server we control with the usual access limits. No system is perfectly secure, but the small footprint is rather the point.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and flag anything important in the support server.
